Est. 2026 · Hemp Genetics Registry

Every hemp seed carries a history. We're building the archive that keeps it.

143 Genetics traces hemp seed lineage back to its roots, backs the farmers and breeders doing the preserving, and points growers to the equipment and knowledge they need — without taking their sales.

What we do

Four pillars, one mission

Hemp genetics disappear when nobody writes them down. 143 Genetics exists to document the lineage, fund the people preserving it, and connect the growing community to the tools and events that keep it alive.

Chef Budz Genetix — Connecticut

Our first partner farm, and the reason this registry exists.

Chef Budz
Genetix

Chef Budz Genetix is a Connecticut-based hemp genetics archive preserving rare cultivars as part of a documented, family-tree-mapped catalog. Their collection traces back to two backbone lines — The Purple Chef, an in-house purple line reversed onto 26 releases, and Golden Haze, a 1970s Acapulco Gold × Colombian Gold landrace cross used as breeding stock for 11 gold-toned, citrus-leaning releases.
